A helping hand for a good cause

On May 19, Soresto Group will participate in the benefit dinner for OHOBI (Ordre Honorable de l'Oie Bleue International or Honorable Order of the Blue Goose, International) as a silver partner. Since all Soresto Group members are also members of OHOBI, it was natural that Soresto reserve a table to contribute to the Order’s annual fundraising drive.

"Every year, the Quebec Pond of OHOBI pays around $30,000 to different charities selected by its members. Giving back to the community is integral to the core values of Soresto, and this benefit dinner is the perfect opportunity to combine business with pleasure," explains Pénélope Durand, CEO of Soresto Group.

The event, which features a lobster dinner, will be held at Salon 1861 in Montreal at 5:30 p.m. Once a church, this venue was transformed into a majestic reception hall, the perfect setting for a fun evening within the framework of social responsibility. It will be an opportunity to see familiar faces, meet with former colleagues, and, most important, get together as members of the same important industry. See you there!

The Honorable Order of the Blue Goose International was founded in 1906 in Green Lake, Wisconsin. The Quebec chapter was founded in 1914 and today has over 220 members.
Originally open exclusively to fire officials, executives, and underwriters, the Order now has close to 6,000 members in Canada and the United States, all involved in the various fields of the insurance industry. Its basic tenets are volunteerism, charity, and kinship.
The Order aims to socially and amicably bring together all those who comprise the large pool of workers in the insurance industry.
